Overview

MicroMELF (Micro Metal Electrode Leadless Face) is a small 2-lead SMD component package. It is the smallest package in the family also containing t he MELF and MiniMELF (SOD-80, DO-213AA) packages.

Some versions have squared bits in the middle, making it easier to place one on a PCB and solder without it rolling around. 0Ω resistors in this package usually have a single centered black line.

The Vishay MicroMELF measures 2.2mm long and 1.1mm in diameter1. The dimensions and recommended land pattern are shown in the below diagram:
